    BAVARIA C57 – 2018
ONE PRIVATE OWNER | ONE-OF-A-KIND SPECIFICATION | EU VAT PAID

Some yachts stand out because of their equipment. Others because of the way they have been owned and maintained. This Bavaria C57 offers both.

Delivered new to her current owner, she has remained in private use throughout her life and has never been operated in charter. Since delivery, the yacht has been maintained by the same dedicated service company, providing valuable continuity and a clearly documented maintenance history.

Her specification has been carefully developed around comfortable private cruising, effortless handling and greater independence at anchor. The result is not simply a well-equipped C57, but a coherent and highly considered owner’s yacht that would be difficult and costly to reproduce today.

    CUSTOM-DESIGNED COCKPIT

The defining feature of this particular C57 is its custom-made hardtop, designed specifically for the yacht and fitted with two fixed glazed panels and two integrated sunshades.

A custom-made summer mesh enclosure can be installed around the entire cockpit, providing shade, privacy and natural ventilation without sacrificing the open-air atmosphere. Integrated into the hardtop are 800 W of flexible solar panels, discreetly positioned without compromising the yacht’s exterior lines.

The cockpit itself has received the same attention to detail. Two separate cockpit tables provide flexible dining and relaxation areas: the port table is electrically adjustable, while the starboard table remains fixed. Custom-made protective covers have been produced for the tables, steering wheels and winches, and a cockpit refrigerator keeps refreshments immediately at hand.

Together, these features create an exterior living area that is protected, practical and exceptionally comfortable, whether the yacht is underway or at anchor.

    TENDER GARAGE AND STERN ACCESS

The electrically operated bathing platform opens to provide access to the yacht’s dedicated tender garage. An electric winch installed inside the garage assists with launching and recovering a tender, making the process considerably easier for a reduced crew.

A hydraulic gangway provides convenient access from the stern, while teak finishes in the cockpit and on the bathing platform complete the exterior arrangement.

    ENERGY AUTONOMY AND ONBOARD COMFORT

The yacht is equipped with a Fischer Panda 8000i generator, supported by the 800 W solar installation, a Titan 1.5 kW inverter and an additional 150 Ah BOS energy storage system. Solar charging is managed through a Victron MPPT regulator.

This carefully integrated electrical package considerably reduces dependence on shore power and allows the yacht’s principal domestic systems to be used more freely while cruising or spending extended periods at anchor.

Air conditioning provides additional comfort below deck, while Hella Marine underwater lights add a discreet finishing touch to the yacht’s appearance after dark.

    ENGINE AND MANOEUVRING

Power is provided by a Yanmar 4JH110 diesel engine producing 110 HP and coupled to a saildrive.

Despite her size, the yacht is remarkably manageable in confined spaces. Side-Power SRV130/250T bow and stern thrusters provide precise control when entering marinas, approaching the quay or manoeuvring in challenging conditions.

The anchoring system is equally substantial and consists of a 40 kg stainless-steel Jambo anchor, 12 mm stainless-steel chain and a Quick Dylan electric windlass with remote control.

    SAILING AND DECK EQUIPMENT

The Selden rig is configured for straightforward operation with an in-mast furling mainsail and furling jib. Two electric Lewmar EVO 65 winches and two manual Lewmar EVO 55 winches place the principal sailing controls within easy reach of the helm.

This combination allows the C57 to be handled confidently without requiring a large crew, while preserving the performance expected from a modern Cossutti-designed hull.

    NAVIGATION AND SYSTEM MANAGEMENT

Navigation and onboard system management are centred around an integrated B&G and NAVIOP installation.

A 12-inch B&G Zeus display is positioned outside at the helm, while a second 9-inch Zeus display is installed at the interior navigation station. The package also includes a B&G autopilot, wind, speed and depth instruments, compass and B&G V50 VHF radio.

The NAVIOP monitoring system provides centralised supervision of the yacht’s principal onboard systems, making essential information readily accessible from a single interface.

    OWNER-FOCUSED INTERIOR

The four-cabin layout has been designed to provide genuine comfort for the owner and guests.

The accommodation consists of a spacious forward owner’s cabin, a separate side cabin with bunk beds and two aft double cabins. Two bathrooms with separate showers serve the accommodation.

The generous beam of the C57 creates an exceptionally spacious and bright saloon, while the full-width galley offers substantial storage and working space. Equipment includes a refrigerator, separate freezer, gas stove and oven, Bosch microwave and Isotherm wine cooler.

In the forward owner’s cabin, the television is integrated into an electric lifting mechanism, allowing it to remain completely concealed when not in use.

    A C57 WITH A CLEAR HISTORY

What distinguishes this yacht is not any single item of equipment. It is the combination of one private owner from new, no charter history, continuous maintenance by the same service company, comprehensive documentation and a series of custom-made solutions that have been properly integrated into the yacht.

The hardtop and cockpit enclosure improve the way the yacht can be used throughout the season. The upgraded energy system provides meaningful independence. Bow and stern thrusters simplify manoeuvring, while the furling sail plan and electric winches make a yacht of this size realistically manageable with a small crew.

This is a Bavaria C57 that has been specified and maintained for an owner who genuinely intended to use the yacht.
